Oct 30, 2005 -- After finding out the news of there newly announced ACHA top ten national ranking, Fordham went back to work, closing the weekend out by soundly defeating Briarcliffe by a 10-0 score.

In the teams second meeting and final meeting of the season, the Rams continued their dominant play against the Seahawks. Fordham easily dictated the pace of the entire game, as evidenced by the lopsided win. Six different players netted goals for the Rams with Junior Jim Bertorelli, and sophomore's Matt Pangia and Jorge Rocha scoring 2 goals each. Continuing his stellar play in goal was Junior Joe Wichowki who turned aside just 13 Seahawk shots in route to his second shutout of the season.

Team notes: Fordham now holds a 5-0 record lifetime over Briarcliffe...Fordham out shot Briarcliffe 37-13...Wichowski's goals against average is now a meager 1.48 and his save percentage an amazing 94.9...Only 8 minutes of penalties were accessed during the game...Both teams went scoreless on the power play...Fordham has not allowed a power play goal in their last 4 games...Fordham has two games on the slate this weekend. On Friday night they play host to a Yale team in their first ever meeting while on Saturday night the MCHC schedule continues with the Rams only visit to Long Island this season as they face off against Nassau Community College in Syosset...The Rams are now 5-1 in league play, 6-1 overall.
