Feb 18, 2018 -- In a close MCHC final, the Rams captured their 4th MCHC championship with a 4-1 victory over Ramapo College. With the game tied 1-1 after two periods, Fordham scored three times over a three minute thirty second span starting at the 8:31 mark of the final period.
The win almost completes the best season in team history. The team currently has an overall record of 24-3-0-1 , marking the most wins ever by the program.
But the season is far from over.
Fordham finished with a #6 ranking in the Atlantic region by the American Collegiate Hockey Association, the governing body of club hockey in America.
The team will play in the ACHA regional tournament next Friday vs. CAL University of PA in Aston, Pennslvania with the possibility of qualifying for the National tournament just 2 more wins in Aston.
No matter what happens the rest of the way, it has been a historic season for the team.
